Roxspin What was booming in the car during your drive here?
Catalina Bob Marley. Yesterday, I was listening to Mya. Last week, I was listening to Christina Aguilara. I like to listen to anything. It varies.

Roxspin Tell me what sparked your interest in joining the Roxspin family?
Catalina I seen the site and was really touched by the purpose of Roxspin. It was something that I really wanted to be a part of on top of working with Grace.

Roxspin You such a sweetie! Are you still going to school?
Catalina No

Roxspin What was your discipline?
Catalina I majored in Biological Science and a Minor in Asian American Studies.

Roxspin That means you probably worked with cadavers right?
Catalina I worked with arms and legs. I'm not sure if you want to add this. (Laughs) I don't work with whole cadavers, just parts of cadavers that have been preserved.

Roxspin Sure I do. That gross stuff always grabs attention. So what got you interested in medicine.
Catalina The first time that got me thinking to be a doctor was around kindergarten when I realize both my parents and friend's parents were doctors. I thought when you grow up you would go to school and then become a doctor. I thought that's what you would do. I thought every adult was a doctor. I'm going to apply for med school this summer.

Roxspin Wow! Amazing.
Catalina In third grade, I dissected a full pig and learned about the different organs.

Roxspin How was it prepared? Lechon (Roasted Pig)?
Catalina Yeah, we roasted it. (Joking) I didn't think it was legal, but we did it. They died from natural causes so don't think we killed it.

Roxspin How about work?
Catalina I do lab work researching viruses infecting monkeys. Also, I'm a teacher's assistant.

Roxspin Monkeys? Just because I don't got hair on my back doesn't mean I don't need some research done on me. (Laughs) What career would you like to concentrate on after Medical school?
Catalina As of right now I'm looking towards family practice or OBGYN.

Roxspin That's what I wanted to do, but change of plans. (Laughs) What do you like to do?
Catalina Relax, watch movies, and play tennis. I workout a lot. Twice a week if that's what you call a lot!

Roxspin If you had a million dollars what would you do with it?
Catalina On a selfish level, I would pay my bills. I would do something for my family. I'm relatively simple. I wouldn't know what I would do with a million dollars.

Roxspin Ideal guy?
Catalina Educated and family oriented.

Roxspin High maintenance?
Catalina I don't think so. Maybe slightly! (Laughs)

Roxspin Describe a perfect date.
Catalina A good date would be feeling very comfortable with a guy.

Roxspin Turnoffs?
Catalina Guys who are loud, obnoxious, no manners, and a person who doesn't respect his parents.

Roxspin Dream car?
Catalina I think you are going to laugh at me. I really want a Beetle!

Roxspin Do you cook?
Catalina The only thing I can make is pasta.
